My name is Bill Griffin, and I am the owner of MONEY'S WORTH POOL CONSTRUCTION.  I was born in the Maryvale area of Phoenix, and attended local schools including Starlight Park Elementary, Desert Sands and Estrella Middle Schools, Trevor Browne High School, and Glendale Community College.  I have always been an athlete, and participated in most sports (Wrestling, Gymnastics, Baseball, Basketball, Racquetball, Weightlifting, Bicycles, Skiing (both snow and water) and Hiking).  I have hiked all over the State, including many times in the Grand Canyon.  I also enjoy riding motorcycles and have done so for over 40 years.  I have two daughters, Danielle and Hope, and one son, Li'l Bill.  My wife, Olga Griffin, is a successful local realtor who works in the Cave Creek area.  I lived in Carefree for over 20 years, and the valley 52 years.  We now live in the Desert Hills area.

I grew up with my best friends doing odd jobs like lawn service, landscaping, house painting, car repair.  Starting at the age of 12 we had a landscaping route and were doing anything we could to make money!  My first job as an employee was as janitor at Luke Air Force Base BX, and then I had a job at Walgreens as a stock clerk.  Then I went to work at Alpha Beta Grocery Store as a courtesy clerk, and ended up running close-up at night.  I then found a job at Holsum Bakery as a route driver.  After two years they sold the routes to us, so I became an independent distributor, which lasted approximately 12 years.  During the final two years my best friend Tim started a pool service company and I rode with him one day and decided I liked it!  I initially began building a route, and eventually sold the distributorship.  After nearly 10 years as owner/operator of Bill's Pool Service, in 1997, I started Money's Worth Pools to address the need for a local company to build swimming pools in Cave Creek.  I was frustrated with hearing about the Phoenix companies coming up here without a good understanding of the area and its expansive soils, caliche, hillside conditions, and other difficult conditions specific to the North Valley.  We also strive to do what the tract pools builders cannot, or are not, willing to do.  We have had much success over the years, as we have built over 1,000 pools.  We are NEGATIVE EDGE specialists, and have done many specialized pools and spas.  We are also expert pool REMODELERS, and have many great remodel ideas as a result of our vast knowledge base gained over the past 24 years. "We have not seen it all, but we have seen a lot!"  We are also POOL REPAIR experts, and now offer WEEKLY POOL SERVICE.  We also offer several lines of drop-in FIBERGLASS POOLS and are the valley's most experienced fiberglass pool company.  These pools are the up-and-coming trend in the valley, as they have a smooth, silky surface that is non-porous, use fewer chemicals, have much less pump run time, are much less likely to leak, as they are one piece, and installation time is two weeks, under normal conditions. The warranties offered by the fiberglass pool manufacturers are far superior to concrete pools.  We have always used the best pool equipment (Pentair and Zodiac are our favorites) and materials on our jobs.  "Do it once - do it right" is our maxim!
